Founded in January 2010 by Managing Director Daryl McIntyre, DAZMAC emerged from a vision to revolutionize freight forwarding. Starting with one Sydney office, we’ve grown to include multiple locations, custom depots, and partnerships worldwide, becoming a market leader through dedication and expertise.

Managing Director

I started in logistics in 1998 as an office junior and worked my way up through various positions. In January 2010 I founded DAZMAC and we’ve grown rapidly since, expanding into warehousing and gaining customs bonded and quarantine depots.

Director

I started my freight career in 2000 and obtained my customs brokers license in 2005. I have found a niche in handling motorsport and project shipments. I joined Daryl at Dazmac in 2012 and moved to the Gold Coast to start our QLD branch.

I have a background in retail management and have known Daryl for 20 years. I’ve worked with him for 5 years in various roles including accounting, customer service, sales and operations. I’m currently operations manager of our Sydney head office.

Accounts Manager

I studied and qualified in 2007 as a Graphic Designer. I am bi-lingual speaking fluent Russian and English. In 2013 I started working for the family business DAZMAC in Accounts, then moving into Import Operations mainly dealing with imported vehicles from Japan. I also handle all Graphic Design for the business.

I started in the Freight Forwarding industry in 1988. Having been in many varying roles: imports, exports, customs, breakbulk, customer service and transport. I looked after shipping for a large direct importer/exporter which gave me insight into being both a shipper and consignee.

I started in Freight Forwarding in New Zealand after University, working primarily with clients importing vehicles. I moved to Australia to start my family and returned to fulltime work with Dazmac/AutoHub. Working in freight forwarding in Australia has further added to my industry knowledge.

I obtained a dual Diploma in Business and Human Resource Management then started in freight and logistics in 2013. My main roles have been running day-to-day operations of Quarantine/Customs depots specialising in machinery, vehicles, parts and food products. I joined DAZMAC when the Brisbane depot opened.

I started my freight forwarding career in 2006 when I arrived in Australia. Originally from Latvia, I have also lived in England and Ireland. I completed a Double Diploma in Business and Business Management. I started with DAZMAC in February 2019, enjoying my versatile Import/Export/Coastal operations role.

After moving from New Zealand in 2008, I got exposure to logistics doing Military Procurement for 8 years. I started my freight forwarding career in 2017 before landing my role with Dazmac. I have gained experience with RORO and bulk cargo importing various types of vehicles. One of my biggest passions is cars.

Since the 1980’s I have been involved with the classic car movement. I imported my first car from USA in 2010. I hold an MBA from Sydney Graduate School of Management and have served in executive capacity with various classic car clubs. I ensure my clients have a positive and trouble-free import experience.
