The majority of your shipping costs are charged per cubic metre and will be based off the dimensions you have provided. If they are not correct your shippings cost will vary. Our quote is only as accurate as the dimension you provide. Your prepurchase report or survey is a good opportunity to get the overall dimensions confirmed. It is important you have accurate dimensions as your freight and port charges are charged per cubic metre. The ports will measure the cargo so your freight & port charges will prorata if the port measurements vary from the booked dimensions. We strongly recommend getting a surveyor to measure the cargo when they do the pre-purchase inspection

You have to allow for the total dimensions for your consignment when its ready for transport. For example include drawbars on trailers folded out, outboard motors raised so they are not damaged going on and off the ships. Also please note if the towers/Bimini are not folded down or guide poles are not removed when delivered into the port these will increase the dimensions and your shipping costs.
