Trailer & Caravan Import permit application
All Trailers require an import permit to clear customs in Australia.
DAZMAC can handle your import permit approval but we will need the below from you.
You must have the import permit approved prior to arrival in Australia, and the minimum processing time is 21 days from the department of infrastructure:

Proof of the GVWR (Aggregate Trailer Mass – ATM) This can be found on the below

For trailers with a GVWR of more than 4.5 ton are a more complicated and detailed application with stricter guidelines for approval. Each application needs to be assessed on a case by case basis to confirm whether the trailer can gain approval to Australia.
